Inspirational Quote for Your Week of July 6th, 2009 "It doesn't pay to say too much when you are mad enough to choke. For the word that stings the deepest is the word that is never spoke, let the other fellow wrangle till the storm has blown away, then he'll do a heap of thinking about the things you didn't say." James Whitcomb Riley
Wisdom is the sharing of wise experiences and knowledge, but a lot of it is common sense. The difference is how we apply this common sense - we all have the ability to keep going even when we face challenges in our lives - basically it comes down to your attitude. We can have a positive attitude towards life, or a negative attitude. We can focus on the good or we can focus on the bad. Keeping a positive mental attitude is one of the keys to success. The choice is always up to you!

Manchester United's Michael Owen coup, bought on a free transfer after the former England international's contract at relegated outfit Newcastle United expired, has not proved popular in terms of shirt sales, as one employee at the club's megastore revealed nobody had requested a Michael Owen shirt.
"We haven't got his number yet, which might have had an effect, [but] we are not expecting a big demand even when that is known," the employee is quoted to have told British tabloid The Sun.
"As far as I know, no one has asked for an Owen shirt.
"We print about 3,000 for Wayne Rooney but we'll be doing nowhere near that for Owen," the source concluded.
Owen received his football education at Manchester United's arch-rivals Liverpool.
Despite not being warmly received by some sections of Red Devils fanbase, the player has been welcomed by the club's playing staff, and burgeoning Brazilian midfielder Anderson recently opined that Owen is the pride of the country and that the club are hoping to groom the player back to his best form.

HUNTERLAAR VERY CLOSE TO AN EXIT
Report: Manchester United Preparing Huntelaar Move
After all the high-profile arrivals, Real Madrid are going to have to start off-loading players.Shane Evans
Jul 7, 2009 6:43:05
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Real Madrid (Peace Cup 2009)Manchester United are preparing to make a €23million bid to end Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's brief stay at Real Madrid and revitalise his career at Old Trafford, according to a report.Manager Sir Alex Ferguson wants to add the Dutchman to his new look front-line and it is believed that the Spanish giants would be willing to let the striker leave. The relationship between United and Madrid has healed after a rift grew when Ramon Calderon was in charge at the Bernabeu and the lines of communication are now open after the Cristiano Ronaldo deal.Huntelaar's was one of the first names to be linked with a move away from Los Merengues when Florentino Perez resumed control and he is set to be one of a large number of players leaving. After netting an incredible 113 goals in 136 games in Holland, the 25-year-old forward joined Madrid in January and was expected to play a major role in the absence of the injured Ruud van Nistelrooy.Instead, it was Gonzalo Higuain who led from the front and Huntelaar was unable to make the impression he craved; his chance now appears to have gone with the arrival of Karim Benzema.Michael Owen has already joined Manchester United this summer and Ferguson is said to want Huntelaar to bolster his options, and is preparing to make a move this week, The Sun states. As revealed exclusively by Goal.com today, Real Madrid will not be offering market discounts for Huntelaar or any of their other out-going stars, so United know they will need to meet the asking price.

THE HOT MAN ON HELSEA'S LIST
Daniele De Rossi - Inter-Roma - Italian SuperCup (Grazia Neri)
Chelsea secured their first major transfer of the summer window with Monday's £18 million purchase of Russia international Yuri Zhirkov, but look set to embark on their own wave of Galactico recruiting as a report in an Italian newspaper intimates that the Stamford Bridge side harbour ambitious hopes of landing Roma midfielder
Daniele De Rossi .
Il Romanista claims Carlo Ancelotti would prefer the midfield hardman over deep-lying Milan playmaker Andrea Pirlo, a player whose credentials are familiar to the Italian tactician as they spent many seasons together at the San Siro.
Roma chief Bruno Conti dashed any notion of an easy switch when he baulked at a €46 million bid from Real Madrid. Chelsea sponsor Roman Abramovich would therefore have to pen a large cheque in order to tempt the Roman outfit. Conti said last week, "De Rossi isn't worth €46 million, he's worth much, much more."
De Rossi and Pirlo have not been the only Serie A representatives to be linked to the Blues. Inter full-back Maicon is also apparently on Ancelotti's shortlist as current right-back Jose Bosingwa is receiving admiring glances from Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich.

Valdano Franck Ribery & Xabi Alonso Are Out Of Real Madrid's Price Range
With a lot of money already spent, it is not clear how much more Madrid have to buy players this summer.Shane Evans
Jul 7, 2009 9:47:18 AM
Jorge Valdano, Real Madrid (Goal.com)Real Madrid general director Jorge Valdano has acknowledged that as far as the signings of Franck Ribery and Xabi Alonso go, the prices are too high for los Blancos to make successful moves at the moment.Bayern Munich have reportedly put an €80 million price-tag on the head of their French international winger. With regards to Alonso, Liverpool are apparently keen to keep the midfielder and Madrid have already had two bids rejected for the Spaniard. In an interview with El Partido de la Una, Valdano was asked about the situation with Alonso, and said no deal is close."Xabi Alonso is a priority if he fits into our budget, but that does not seem to be the case. We are very far away from the figures that Liverpool have presented," he explained.Likewise, Valdano acknowledged that Bayern's valuation of Ribery has all but put Madrid off buying him."It is a figure that is out of place. It is the same thing as them saying that they do not want to sell him," he said.
